Mini Cake Oven

I can now have my oven baked mug cakes and eat them too.

Mini cake oven. I m in love with these. I ve tested 6 cake pans with 3 high sides and i ve found that the extra inch radiates more heat in the oven and the cakes can sink after baking. The one i like is here. Using 5 ounce stoneware ramekins our cakes usually take about 12 to 13 minutes in our traditional oven and countertop oven and about 14 to 15 minutes in our smaller toaster oven.

Makes 6 you will need. 2 cups sugar 1 3 4 cups all purpose flour 3 4 cup cocoa 1 1 2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1 cup milk 1 2 cup vegetable oil 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 cup piping hot coffee 1 2 cup milk chocolate morsels optional 1 2 cup toasted slivered almonds. Toaster ovens are ubiquitous occupiers of space on kitchen counters and in dorm rooms where they typically engage in nothing more challenging than heating frozen mini pizzas. A great smelling kitchen and two sweet and delicious cakes with the same texture and flavor as a full sized cake mix cake.
